2018

- YTDS' first-ever tree plantation initiative. A total of 150 trees were planted.

2019

- Over 100 trees were planted by the YTDS team.

- 300+ trees were planted in multiple locations across Mumbai and Pune.

Through #PlantAMillionTrees initiative, we have planted 150,000 trees so far, that together generate over 25.5 million kilograms of oxygen each year, significantly improving air quality. Each mature tree absorbs around 22 kilograms of carbon dioxide annually, helping to reduce harmful greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. These trees not only purify the air by converting carbon dioxide into oxygen but also play a crucial role in restoring the balance of nature and creating a healthier environment. YTDS' Trees Absorb 3.3 Million kg of CO₂ Annually - Our Green Impact

A single mature tree can absorb up to 48 pounds (around 22 kilograms) of carbon dioxide per year. The 150,000+ trees planted by YTDS can absorb up to 3,300,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide (CO₂) each year. This is a huge contribution to the environment, as it helps reduce the amount of harmful greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
